Hye-rin Park and Jin-seon Oh, graduates of Jeju Aewol High School’s art department, will enter the Nantes-Saint-Nazaire College of Fine Arts in France.

According to the Jeju Provincial Office of Education (Office of Education), students Hye-rin Park and Jin-seon Oh, who will graduate from Aewol High School this year, were finally accepted as of the 24th to the 2024 entrance contest for the Nantes-Saint-Nazaire College of Fine Arts in France.

The two students received high praise for their creative and artistic abilities through their history and portfolio work of participating in the Art Summer School at the University of Fine Arts of Nantes-Saint-Nazaire in July of last year. In addition, I successfully passed the oral exam in French and English.

University of Fine Arts, Nantes-Saint-Nazaire, France[École des Beaux-arts de Nantes Saint-Nazaire(EBANSN)]and the Office of Education signed an international educational exchange and cooperation agreement in 2022. In accordance with the agreement, the Nantes-Saint-Nazaire College of Fine Arts’ Art Summer School and International Preparatory Course admissions system are being operated. The Office of Education is helping prospective art students from Jeju not only advance to the University of Fine Arts in Saint-Nazaire, France, but also to master’s degree programs.
