On January 24, 2023, Seongjin Kim, who traveled alone to Yakushima, Japan, went missing. Yakushima, designated as a World Natural Heritage, is famous for its cedar trees and dense forests that have been preserved for thousands of years. In particular, Miyanouradake, the highest mountain in the Kyushu region, is considered a place that even Japanese people want to visit at least once in their lifetime. Kim Seong-jin, who went on a trip after a long time after Corona. After he entered the mountain, his hiking trail was closed due to a sudden heavy snowfall, and the whereabouts of Kim Seong-jin also became unknown.
