According to the fashion industry on the 26th, Balenciaga introduced its new summer season collection ‘Summer 24’ and released jackets and pants that resemble past Korean military uniforms. ‘Ami’ was added to the product name.

‘Dark Camo Biker Army Jacket Dark Green’ is priced at 6.49 million won, and ‘Large Cargo Pants Dark Green’ is priced at 3.83 million won. If you purchase the two products as a top and bottom set, it costs 10.32 million won. Pre-orders are currently in progress, but 3 out of 5 pants sizes are listed as sold out.

Both products were released for both men and women. The country of manufacture is Italy and the material is 100% cotton. They also released pants with one leg made of military uniform and the other leg made of denim. This product costs 3.74 million won.

The old combat uniform, also known as the ‘frog uniform’, was introduced in 1990 and represented the Korean military uniform for over 20 years before disappearing into history in 2014.

Reactions to Balenciaga’s new product poured in on SNS (social network service), mainly from those who served in the military.
