Comedian Jeong Seong-ho, who appears in Season 5 of SNL Korea, which airs on the video platform (OTT) Coupang Play, parodied Cho Kuk, leader of the Cho Kuk Innovation Party. CEO Cho expressed his gratitude to Jeong Seong-ho for parodying him.
In a corner of Lee Hee-jun’s episode of ‘SNL Korea Season 5’ episode 8, which was released on the 20th, Jeong Seong-ho appeared as a parody of CEO Cho’s tone of voice, facial expression, clothing, and unique hairstyle that was swept to one side.
Jeong Seong-ho appears on a set decorated as a large supermarket and says, “I am the country of the ball game.” Comedian Kwon Hyuk-soo, imitating Lee Jae-myeong, leader of the Democratic Party of Korea, introduces himself as “my friend.”
Kim Min-kyo, who played the role of President Yoon Seok-yeol, said, “You are busy attending court, but you come to the supermarket and have some free time. “I guess he gave up on the general election.”
After hearing this, Jeong Seong-ho said, “I’m working hard. “I will definitely judge if there are more than 10 seats,” he answers. In fact, Representative Cho mentioned judgment on the Yoon Seok-yeol administration several times during the last general election campaign.
On the 26th, CEO Cho posted an edited YouTube video of Lee Hee-jun’s episode on Facebook and expressed his gratitude. He wrote, “Thank you, comedian Seongho Jeong, for parodying me!”
In another episode in the past, Jeong Seong-ho parodied former People Power Party Emergency Response Committee Chairman Han Dong-hoon by wearing thick horn-rimmed glasses and a scarf. He also imitated Jurgen Klinsmann, former coach of the Korean national soccer team.
