The National Research Foundation of Korea announced that it will jointly host the ‘2024 Korea Science Festival’ and the ‘5th Korea Science and Technology Exhibition’ hosted by the Ministry of Science and ICT and Daejeon City in collaboration with the Korea Foundation for the Advancement of Science and Creativity, Daejeon Tourism Organization, and the Private Council for Science and Culture. .

The Science Festival, held for four days from today to the 28th in downtown Daejeon, including Daejeon Expo Citizen Square and Expo Science Park in celebration of Science Month, is the largest scientific cultural event in Korea and, especially this year, provides a chance to see Korea’s latest research results at a glance. It will be held in conjunction with the Science and Technology Fair.

While the Science and Technology Fair, which marks its 5th anniversary this year, focuses on exhibiting the latest research results, the Science Festival focuses on experiencing science, technology and culture. The integrated hosting of these two events is expected to serve as an opportunity to leap forward as a world-class science festival that can be enjoyed by all ages.
