[경인매일=최승곤기자] The “Gyeonggi Provincial Council Partial Amendment Rules for Public Official Personnel Rules” (hereinafter referred to as the revised rules) proposed by Yang Woo-sik (People Power, Proportionality), Chairman of the Special Committee on Innovation Promotion of the Gyeonggi Provincial Council, was held at the 2nd Parliamentary Steering Committee of the 374th Extraordinary Session (25th). It will be reviewed.

The gist of this revised rule is to allow up to three members recommended by each negotiating group to be recommended to the Gyeonggi Provincial Council Civil Service Personnel Committee, which consists of a total of 16 to 20 members, in order to operate the council fairly.

In his concluding remarks at the 2nd meeting of the Innovation Promotion Special Committee on the 24th (Wednesday), Chairman Yang Woo-sik said, “Some reports are using critical expressions such as ‘seizure of personnel rights’ regarding the revision of personnel rules currently pending in the National Assembly Steering Committee.” , Kim Jong-seok, the head of the National Assembly Secretariat, was asked whether he believed that the members of the Personnel Committee could be controlled by recommending members from a negotiating body to the Personnel Committee, even though the members of the Personnel Committee are not disclosed and members have an obligation not to reveal secrets regarding personnel matters. The Secretary-General responded, “It is not a case of seizing personnel rights.”
