Gyeongbuk Creative Economy Innovation Center (Director Lee Moon-rak) is recruiting participants for the local planning professional training academy ‘Login Gyeongbuk’, the first step of the ‘2024 Gyeongbuk Local Change-Up Project’ to discover unique businesses in the Gyeongbuk region.

The 2024 Gyeongbuk Local Change Up Project is a project that seeks to revitalize the local economy by utilizing the resources of the Gyeongbuk region as the crisis of regional extinction increases due to regional population decline, aging, and youth population outflow. This project consists of two processes: ‘Login Gyeongbuk’ and commercialization funding support.

If you are selected as an excellent graduate through the login Gyeongbuk program, you can receive commercialization funds (22 million won). Afterwards, we plan to provide follow-up support for the second and third years to those who have completed excellent commercialization funds.

Login Gyeongbuk will carry out programs such as ▲orientation camp ▲matching and mentoring with local business experts by division ▲coaching for upgrading business plans linked to Gyeongbuk resources ▲insight trips with excellent local companies outside of Gyeongbuk for 5 weeks. We discover and foster local business experts who plan innovative business models using local resources.

There are four recruitment areas: leisure tourism, local food, cultural space, and others. Anyone between the ages of 35 and 65 from across the country with a local business model that combines resources and ideas from the Gyeongbuk region can apply. Lee Moon-rak, director of the center, said, “We ask for your interest and support from local creators who have creative and active local businesses that can discover new possibilities in Gyeongbuk and spark change in the local community.”
