The forum on this day was attended by Vice Governor Jeon Hyeong-sik, Future Quantum Convergence Forum Chairman Lee Jong-sik, as well as national research institutes such as the Korea Institute of Advanced Science and Technology (KIAS), Korea Research Institute of Standards and Science (KRISS), Electronics and Telecommunications Research Institute (ETRI), and Korea Institute of Industrial Technology (KITECH). Currently, the province is taking various measures to create an ecosystem for the quantum science and technology industry in Chungcheongnam-do, including discovering demonstration tasks for applying quantum technology, promoting a project to foster quantum technology experts, conducting research on strategies to foster the quantum science and technology industry in Chungnam, and enacting ordinances for fostering and supporting the quantum industry in the second half of the year.
