The national representative brand award is selected through expert review based on representativeness, satisfaction, and reliability through the national representative brand certification system sponsored by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy, the Ministry of Science and ICT, and the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs.

The Chungcheongnam-do “Agricultural Work Support Group” was selected with a high score in recognition of its efforts to ensure smooth supply and demand of manpower in the agricultural field, including support for farming during the busy farming season and resolving the serious labor shortage in rural areas.

The Agricultural Work Support Group, promoted by South Chungcheong Province and the Chungnam Regional Headquarters of the National Agricultural Cooperative Federation in collaboration with 14 cities and counties in the province and local agricultural cooperatives (109 locations), is a project to support agricultural workers in agricultural fields that are experiencing difficulties due to the decline and aging of the rural population. .

Since starting a pilot project targeting five regional agricultural cooperatives in 2018, thanks to the overwhelming response from agricultural fields, it has been expanded to 20 agricultural cooperatives in 2019, 54 in 2020, 83 in 2021, and 109 in 2022-2024. .

This is the 7th year of the project, and it plays a role in resolving the problems of field crop cultivation and labor shortage during busy farming seasons, which are difficulties faced by small and medium-sized farms and full-time farmers. Last year, 5,948ha of agricultural machinery work (tillage, rotary, mulching, harvesting, etc.) was provided to small and medium-sized and elderly farmers (12,617 households). ), and 361,436 farming workers were brokered to full-time farms (3,396 households) with large farming scales, greatly contributing to timely farming for farms suffering from labor shortages.
