The ‘Agricultural Solar Power Support Act (tentative name)’ contains provisions such as providing special provisions for the installation of solar power facilities so that the expansion of renewable energy can be promoted centered on farmers. The amendment to the ‘Industrial Cluster Act’ includes the establishment of a new and renewable energy plan when establishing a new industrial complex development plan and mandatory installation of solar power for tenant companies.

As a result of the enactment and revision of the three RE100 laws, Gyeonggi Province will achieve a reduction of approximately 23 million tons of greenhouse gas emissions and a production inducement effect of approximately KRW 133 trillion when the country’s 30-year renewable energy power generation target of 30% is achieved. It is estimated that there will be an economic ripple effect of approximately 48 trillion won in added value and employment creation of approximately 472,000 people.
