The 5th Korea Haman Watermelon Festival, hosted by Haman-gun, will be held for three days from the 26th to the 28th at the Hamju Park multipurpose grass field.

On the 26th, the first day of the festival, the ‘1st National Watermelon Evaluation’ will be held to select the best luxury watermelons in Korea. Excellent watermelons will be selected through a fair evaluation on texture, sweetness, and appearance, and 11 luxury watermelons will be awarded.

Other events include a performance by bubble artist Natalie, juggling, and an acoustic band.

On the second day, starting with the opening ceremony at 11 a.m., a large watermelon flower sharing event and a family watermelon carving contest will be held, and at 3:30 p.m., various events will be held, including the Korea Watermelon Concert featuring Jeong Mi-ae, Jang Ye-ju, Yang Ji-won, Lee Joo-eun, and Myung-jin.

On the 28th, the last day of the event, three special watermelon games, a large watermelon flower sharing event, dance and rap performances, and a watermelon auction will be held.

Exhibition and experience programs include promotion of Haman watermelon and agricultural specialties, watermelon hat making experience, etc., and the event venue is expected to receive a great response from visitors by holding a discount event on carefully selected high-quality Haman watermelons.
