President of the Indonesian Football Association: “Agreement to renew contract with coach Shin Tae-yong until 2027”

Coach Shin Tae-yong has decided to continue accompanying the Indonesian national soccer team.

On the 25th, Indonesia Football Association President Eric Tohir posted a photo of himself shaking hands with coach Shin at a Korean restaurant on his social networking service (SNS) and said, “We discussed the national team program until 2027 and decided to work together.”

Coach Shin, who leads the Indonesian U-23 national team in the 2024 Asian Football Confederation (AFC) U-23 Asian Cup, which also serves as the final men’s soccer qualifier for the Paris Olympics, renewed his contract after finishing the third match of Group A (4-1 win) against Jordan.
