A month after an incident occurred in which a civil servant from Gimpo City, Gyeonggi Province, died while suffering from complaints, the same city hall civil servant was found dead again.

According to the Gimpo Police Station on the 26th, at around 8:12 a.m. on the 25th, a report was received from fellow employee B that Mr. A, a man in his 40s and a 7th grade civil servant belonging to Gimpo City, had gone missing.

It is reported that Mr. A left a text message to Mr. B the evening before, saying, ‘I am sorry for not being able to finish work and leaving first.’ When Mr. B could not contact Mr. A the next day, he reported it to the police.

The dispatched police found Mr. A dead in a vehicle parked in the parking lot of a soccer field in Masan-dong, Gimpo-si around 8:35 a.m. No suicide note was found.

The police determined that there was no suspicion of crime and were investigating the details, including whether Mr. A had ever received any complaints from his family and acquaintances.

This is not the first time that a Gimpo city official was found dead. On the 5th of last month, there was an incident where a level 9 civil servant in his 30s, who had been suffering from complaints, was found dead in his vehicle. It was revealed that he had continuously received complaints related to road pothole repair work at the time, and that he had complained of pain as his personal information was made public by netizens at a local online cafe.
