Gyeonggi Province is recruiting companies to participate in the ‘Gyeonggi Family-Friendly Great Workplace Certification Project’ until May 20th.

The ‘Gyeonggi Family-Friendly Company Certification Project’ is a policy in which Gyeonggi Province certifies companies that have introduced family-friendly systems such as childbirth and childcare support and flexible working hours, such as childcare leave and reduced working hours during the childcare period. The province selects and certifies businesses and public institutions in the province that run an exemplary family-friendly system and provides 57 types of incentives, including granting additional points when applying for various business support projects such as promising small business certification and small business development funds.

This year, the support fund for newly certified small and medium-sized businesses will be increased from 2 million won to 5 million won, and a total of 20 billion won (200 million won per company, secondary compensation 2%) will be provided in support of special management funds and promotion of excellent companies (video production, etc.) New benefits such as:

Certification targets are companies with at least two years of business experience and whose main office or manufacturing facility is located in Gyeonggi-do. Companies wishing to participate can apply online by visiting EZ Biz (www.egbiz.or.kr) by 6 p.m. on May 20.

The evaluation is conducted through document screening and on-site inspection. ▲ Status of operation of the family-friendly system ▲ CEO’s interest and will to implement ▲ Employee satisfaction ▲ Corporate stability, etc. are evaluated, and certified companies are finally selected through committee deliberation. .

For both new certification and recertification, a score of 65 or more out of 120 must be obtained, and new certification is decided on 50 companies in order of evaluation score. In particular, this year, Gyeonggi Province’s will to overcome low birth rates was reflected by increasing the points allocation for childbirth and childcare in the evaluation field of family-friendly system operation.

Certified companies will be awarded a certificate, plaque, and plaque in the name of the Governor of Gyeonggi Province, and 5 million won will be provided to newly certified small and medium-sized businesses to help companies with things such as admission fees to family-friendly facilities, in-house welfare points, employee health management, improvement of the working environment, and operation of family-friendly programs. You can use it according to your desired family-friendly needs.

The certification validity period is three years from this year to 2027, and the certification ceremony will be held in October.

Kim Mi-seong, Director of the Gyeonggi Province Gender Equality and Family Bureau, said, “These days, family-friendly management is essential for recruiting and preventing the departure of excellent employees and improving the company’s external image,” adding, “Gyeonggi Province has a good work environment for giving birth and raising children, and workers’ work and “To establish a culture of life balance, we will make more efforts to expand and strengthen the Gyeonggi Family-Friendly Workplace Certification Project.”
