In the complaint released by Attorney Kim, “Ssangbangwool employees received Kim Seong-tae’s request from Suwon District Prosecutor’s Office 1313 on an unspecified day between May and June of last year, and with the prosecutor’s permission or connivance, they bought soju and other alcoholic beverages and snacks and delivered them to Kim Seong-tae. It was written, “I did it.”

Attorney Kim also raised his voice on his social media, saying, “Now that the Suwon District Prosecutors’ Office is a suspect, they should get out of the drinking incident.”

Previously, in June of last year, former Deputy Governor Lee made a statement in the prosecution’s interrogation to the effect that “I reported the remittance to North Korea to Governor Lee Jae-myeong,” but then overturned his statement, saying, “There was conciliation from the prosecution and Kim Seong-tae.”

At the same time, he claimed that there was a ‘drinking appeasement’ to the effect that “salmon dishes and alcohol were served in the prosecution’s investigation room, and he had a drinking party with Kim Seong-tae and others.”

The prosecution said, “Drinking is physically impossible because alcohol has never been brought into the building,” and dismissed it as “obviously false, even when looking at prison guard attendance records,” and even Prosecutor General Lee Won-seok personally stepped forward and said, “A serious criminal is making false claims ahead of his first trial sentencing.” “They are trying to destroy the judicial system.”

President Lee also took aim at the Democratic Party, pointing out, “The Communist Party should not be dragged around by relying solely on former Vice Governor Lee’s statements.”

Meanwhile, in response to former Deputy Governor Lee’s claim that “there is a CCTV hidden behind a mirror in one corner of the statement recording room in room 1313,” which was designated as the place where the drinking session took place, the Suwon District Prosecutors’ Office acknowledged that it is true that there is a CCTV.

The prosecution explained that it was ″an official CCTV installed pursuant to Article 244-2 of the Criminal Procedure Act, which states that it can record the statements of suspects and witnesses in criminal cases.″

Previously, Attorney Kim said, “A person who knows the inside of the Suwon District Prosecutors’ Office well has reported that there is a CCTV hidden in a corner of the investigation room,” and urged, “This CCTV may contain footage of drinking alcohol, so make it public.”
