Cheonan City Council Public Administration and Security Committee visits Korea Football Center, etc.

The Cheonan City Council Administrative and Safety Committee (Chairman Yoo Young-chae) conducted an on-site visit on the first day on the 25th while the 268th extraordinary meeting was in progress.

Chairman Yoo Young-chae, Vice-chairman Yoo Su-hee, Jang Hyuk, Kim Haeng-geum, Jeong Seon-hee, and Cho Eun-seok visited four sites, including the Korea Football Center, to listen to residents’ opinions and check the progress of the project.

At the Korea Football Center, which I visited for the first time, I checked the progress of detailed projects such as the construction of living sports facilities, the construction of an indoor gym, and the construction of a soccer history museum.

In particular, in the case of the soccer sports center construction project, various sports facilities are being built with the goal of completion in June of this year, and as it is expected to contribute to improving the sports welfare of local residents, we requested that preparations be made without disruption.

Next, Cheonan Youth Center Anseo Eum presented various opinions on the design direction and operation program for space composition.

At the Bandabi Sports Center, we checked the construction status and site and discussed ways to meet the sports welfare needs of people with disabilities in the region and promote healthy leisure and convenience by expanding sports facilities. In addition, plans to install an underwater rehabilitation exercise room and lawn ball court were inspected.

The committee members visited Shinbang Gymnasium for the last time, inspected the operation and facility status, and concluded the first day’s site visit.

Chairman Yoo Young-chae said, “Through this field activity, we were able to understand the current status of the project and various improvement plans.” He added, “We will continue to strive for regional development by reflecting vivid voices from the field in the legislative process.”
