This festival, in which 101 makgeolli manufacturers from all over the country participate, the largest ever, is held with the support of Gyeonggi Province and Goyang Special City. The Korea Makgeolli Festival, the only festival to promote makgeolli widely in Korea, was canceled in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic, but it is now held again in a grand way after 3 years.
