Sumage Stove officially launches ‘The Battle of Baek Hero’, a spiritual successor to the Guardian of Fantasy

Smilegate game platform Stove announced on the 24th that it will present ‘Baek Hero Battle’, a spiritual sequel to the classic Japanese role-playing game (JPRG) ‘Water of Fantasy’ series.

Battle of the White Heroes is a new work produced by Rabbit & Bear Studio, which was founded by developers from Konami, the creator of Fantasy Guardians, and Castlevania developers. It is published by global indie game publisher 505 Games. It raised expectations from the development stage, ranked first in Kickstarter sponsorship in 2020, and recorded $4.6 million (approximately KRW 6.3 billion), more than 9 times the funding goal.

As the title of the game suggests, Battle of Baek Heroes features extensive content with over 100 characters. Under the slogan, ‘A tribute game to all fans of classic JRPGs,’ it reinterprets the emotions of classic classic games in a modern way.
