The Communications Subcommittee pointed out that although iMBC confirmed the error in the article and belatedly corrected it, there were concerns that the misinformation could lead to national and economic chaos.
He then emphasized the need for measures to prevent recurrence, such as improvement measures to supplement the review process before providing news, to prevent similar situations from recurring in the future.
In addition, considering the speed and impact of the spread of Internet news, it was pointed out that the responsibility of business operators is enormous, and the opinion was suggested that social discussions are needed to prevent technical errors to avoid damage due to misinformation when providing Internet news.
