Man in his 30s urinating for ‘1.5 million won Louis Vuitton’ with his girlfriend during an argument, fines at ‘bag price’

A (31) man, a man who was handed over to trial for urinating in his girlfriend’s luxury bag while arguing with his girlfriend, was sentenced to a fine.

According to the legal community on the 13th, Judge Park Hye-rim, the 13th independent criminal of the Seoul Central District Court, sentenced A, who was charged with property damage, to a fine of 1.5 million won on the 10th.

Previously, on October 11, last year, at the home of girlfriend B, located in Gangnam-gu, Seoul, Mr. B was handed over to trial for urinating in a Louis Vuitton bag worth 1.5 million won owned by Mr. B and pouring a liquid deodorant.

At the time, they were arguing over debt issues, and in the process, it was investigated that A took the bag from B’s room into the living room and committed the crime.

A denied the allegations in court. A’s lawyer claimed, “The accused did not actually urinate in the bag, he just pretended to.” However, when the National Forensic Research Institute evaluated the cotton swabs collected from the bag, the urine reaction was found to be ‘positive’. The male DNA type was also detected.

Person A is said to have made a statement to the effect of admitting the crime to the police. Based on the results of the first-degree national forensic examination and the police statements of A and B, Mr. A was found guilty of the charges, but Mr. A was dissatisfied with the verdict and appealed.

The court said, “The accused is a first-time offender and paid money to the victim to reach an agreement,” the court said.

On the other hand, Article 366 of the Criminal Act stipulates that ‘A person who destroys or conceals another person’s property, documents, or electronic records, etc.
