(Seoul = Yonhap News) Reporter Kim Yun-cheol = Reporter Kim Yun-cheol = Jeon Joo-hwan (31, arrested), who killed a woman after persistent stalking, was transferred to the Seoul Central District Prosecutors’ Office on the 21st for retaliatory murder under the Act on Aggravated Punishment of Specific Crimes (Special Value Act).

Jeon, who came out of the detention center at Namdaemun Police Station in Seoul around 7:30 a.m. that day, said, “I’m really sorry” when asked if he admitted that he had illegally filmed and stalked the victim while standing at the photo line without a mask.

When asked if he had anything to say other than ‘I’m sorry’, he said, “I did something really crazy.”

When asked if he acknowledged the retaliatory murder charge or if he had anything to say to the victim, he only repeated the words, “I’m really sorry.”

However, he did not answer about the motive for the crime or whether there was a prior plan.

When asked if it was true that he was going to appear at the trial scheduled the day after the crime, Jeon said, “That’s right.” As for the reason he tried to withdraw 17 million won before the crime, she said, “I was trying to give my parents.”

Jeon is accused of stalking the victim and is being tried without detention, and is accused of killing the victim with a knife while patrolling the women’s restroom at Sindang Station on Seoul Subway Line 2 on the night of the 14th, one day before the first trial.

On that day, Chun was dressed in black training clothes and had a bandage wrapped around his left hand, which was injured during the crime.
