Ulsan loses to Yokohama in penalty shootout… Failure to advance to ACL finals

Pro Football K-League 1 (Won) Ulsan HD failed to advance to the finals of the Asian Champions League after a close match that ended in a penalty shootout.

Ulsan bowed to Yokohama Marinos of Japan’s J-League with a penalty shootout score of 4-5 in the second leg of the ACL semifinal away game.

Ulsan, who won 1-0 in the first leg, gave up 3 goals in the first half of the game, then made the combined score 3-3 with consecutive goals from Mateus and Boyanic.

However, due to bad luck at the goalpost and a situation where the score was canceled due to an offside decision, the team failed to score an additional goal, ultimately giving the ticket to the finals to Yokohama.
