Han Song-i, who was selected by the Korea Expressway Corporation as the first overall pick in the 2002 draft, won the Super League Rookie of the Year award in the 2002-2003 season. He worked at Heungkuk Life Insurance and GS Caltex before joining KGC Ginseng Corporation (currently CheongKwanJang) in the 2017-2018 season. He later changed his position to middle blocker (fast attack) and entered a new heyday by being selected as one of the best 7 for two consecutive seasons in 2019-2020 and 2020-2021.

In the V-League, which was launched in 2005, she was the only female player to boast consistency by playing all 20 seasons from her first year as a professional to the 2023-2024 season.
