| ASUS has decided to extend the warranty period for its portable PC game console ROG ALLY (2023) RC71L. The decision to extend this decision was made in relation to the issue of causing defects in the Miakro SD card, which was an early issue. In July of last year, ASUS announced a free repair policy along with the distribution of firmware and SW updates related to this issue. Due to this warranty period extension, the existing warranty period of 12 months will be extended to 24 months, and compensation for damaged SD cards in addition to ROG ALLY will also be provided. Compensation for damaged SD cards is applied retroactively to customers who suffered damage during the RMA process related to the SD card slot issue, and consultation is required in this regard. Meanwhile, the decision to extend the warranty related to the micro SD slot issue applies only to the US market. |
