[smartPC사랑=이백현 기자] FM Networks, a manufacturer of ipTIME wired and wireless routers, has released beta firmware 14.95.0 with ‘3rd generation iUX’ based on Material Design.
ipTIME’s ‘3rd generation iUX’ integrates PC and mobile UI into one, eliminating the differences between platforms, and has a user-centered design that allows even beginners to easily and conveniently set up and manage the router through intuitive menu layout. In addition, ‘3rd generation iUX’ further improved user convenience by supporting additional features that were not supported in the existing UI, such as a dark mode that reduces eye fatigue and a favorites function that prioritizes frequently used menus.
‘3rd generation iUX’ can be used by downloading firmware 14.95.0 from the ipTIME website and installing it through a manual upgrade. After the beta firmware is installed, subsequent beta version firmware can be used through automatic upgrade. The ‘3rd generation iUX’ beta firmware is supported by 55 types of wired and wireless routers, including ipTIME’s flagship router AX11000-6E.
FM Networks said, “After a beta period of 2 to 3 months, we plan to distribute official firmware supporting ‘3rd generation iUX.’” “’3rd generation iUX’ is a reinterpretation of Material Design with ipTIME’s identity. “It is a UI optimized for all users with an intuitive and efficient interface.” He said.
