Seorincni (CEO: Jeon Deok-gyu www.seorincni.co.kr), a company specializing in the import and distribution of major computer-related components, officially launches be quiet!’s new PC case, the DARK Base 701 series.

Dark Base 701 is divided into two colors: black and white. Among these, the white model is an all-white model, with the exterior and interior frames, as well as the bundled cooling fan, all painted in white.
Be Quiet’s PC case lineup is divided into the entry model PURE base, the mid-range SHADOW base, and the high-end dark base. Accordingly, this Dark Base 701 is one of the top models in the entire lineup, and its specifications also support installation of an E-ATX motherboard, as well as installation of a 430mm long VGA, a tower-type CPU cooler up to 185mm high, and a 250mm long power supply. It also has the expandability of the big tower standard.

The Dark Base 701 series comes standard with a total of three of the company’s high-performance cooling fans, Silent Wings 4 High Speed 140mm model, one each on the front, rear, and top. In addition, a total of 6 cooling fans are installed, 2 at the front and top, and 1 additional at the bottom, supporting the installation of a total of 8 cooling fans along with the basic rear fan. Silent Wings 4 High Speed, a bundled fan that provides high wind volume and wind pressure with a maximum rotation speed of 1,900 RPM, is advantageous for creating a quiet system with a low operating noise of 29.3 dBA even at maximum rotation speed.
BeQuiet Dark Base 701 uses a detachable motherboard tray and provides a reverse layout. In case of reverse build by flipping it 360 degrees, both side panels made of tempered glass and solid have a perfectly symmetrical design and can be replaced. Using this, it is possible to check the inside of the system using tempered glass panels on either the left or right depending on the system’s placement direction.
Dark Base 701 has LED strips built into both sides of the front panel. This strip, which supports addressable RGB (ARGB), can be connected to the 5V ARGB connector on the motherboard, and using the dedicated controller built into the case, you can set lighting effects integrated with other hardware that supports RGB lighting. It may be possible. Additionally, this controller is equipped with up to eight 4-pin PWM connectors, making it convenient for connecting multiple cooling fans.

In addition, the top I/O panel is provided with a USB 3.2 Type C port and a USB 3.0 Type A port along with RGB lighting as well as physical buttons that can operate the cooling fan, and the solid side panel includes industrial sound-absorbing material. In addition, system tuning and internal expansion options using a PCIe 4.0 support riser cable kit, a dedicated accessory that will be released soon, and an HDD cage that supports 3.5” and 2.5” storage installation are also provided.
