A 1t-class low-pressure maintenance vehicle (model name: NT E120) recently released by Novas. It has been evaluated as having caught three rabbits at once in terms of mobility, safety, and price competitiveness.

The small low-pressure repair vehicle that Novas developed and commercialized for the first time in the world is attracting attention by showing its unique mobility and safety as well as price competitiveness.

Novas Co., Ltd. (CEO Chang-geun Son) announced that it will start selling in earnest to domestic and foreign electrical construction companies after completing KEPCO’s due diligence on the compact low-pressure repair vehicle (model name: NT E120).

The compact low-pressure repair car launched this time is a model introduced by Novas, a company specializing in high-place work vehicles, after one year and six months of research and development.

Low-pressure maintenance vehicles currently operating in Korea are equipped with insulating buckets on vehicles over 2.5t, but Novas used the world’s first 1.2t small truck (Kia Bongo III King Cab).

Because it is small, it boasts excellent mobility.

It is possible to navigate not only residential areas and alleys with narrow roads, but also complex and diverse industrial sites. Since it is a 1 ton vehicle, even beginners can drive it safely, and the maximum speed limit for trucks according to the Road Traffic Act is not subject to the 90 km/h limit. Therefore, it is possible to arrive at the scene of an accident earlier than anyone else and respond quickly.

The fuel economy is good and the price is cheap. Compared to the existing low-pressure repair car of 2.5 tons or more, which costs over 130 million won, it is 30% cheaper than the 100 million won.

Regarding safety, which some people are concerned about because of its small size, a Nova official said, “It is small in size as it is a vehicle with the latest construction method based on the accumulated experience and technology of producing 1 ton trucks at high altitude for the past 20 years, but safety is It surpasses vehicles,” he said confidently.

In fact, the vehicle developed this time basically has a workbench leveling device, a body inclination angle indicator, a fall prevention sensor, an emergency pump, and a working radius limiter. The outrigger under the bumper is a safety device unique to Novas, which specializes in high-place work vehicles that are not found in existing low-pressure maintenance vehicles. It’s not just this. Whereas the existing low-pressure repair car was exposed to the risk of malfunction and accidents due to frequency interference by operating the boom as a wireless remote control, Novas chose the wired operation method instead of the remote control in consideration of the safety of the workers.

The electrical construction industry welcomes the emergence of a new concept of low-voltage maintenance vehicles, saying that it expands options and relieves economic burden while climbing electric poles at distribution construction sites is completely banned due to the enforcement of the ‘Act on Punishment of Serious Disasters, etc.’ All.

There is no need to worry about S, and compared to existing products, safety and fuel efficiency are good with the latest technology.”

The official also emphasized, “More than anything else, although the vehicle is small, it has a working height and radius comparable to that of a 2 or 5 ton vehicle, and I like the fact that the boom is not controlled with a remote control in terms of effectiveness and safety.”

As it is a domestic car rather than an imported car, it is also a strength in A/S.

Currently, we have service centers in 5 locations in the metropolitan area, 3 locations in Chungcheong area, 3 locations in Honam area, and 5 locations in Yeongnam area, and each area has direct service centers.

Since Novas has many long-term workers and is a product produced in a domestic factory with accumulated technology, it is evaluated that A/S problems such as parts procurement are better than that of large companies. The reason Novas pays attention to A/S is to listen to the voices of customers.
