While the original Netflix documentary ‘I am God: Those Who Betrayed by God’ is causing a sensation, boycotts of Synnara Records are being captured everywhere.

‘I am God’, which was released on the 3rd, consists of 8 episodes such as ‘JMS, Brides of God’, ‘Five Oceans, 32 Corpses and Gods’, ‘Children’s Garden, Finding Paradise’, and ‘The Man Who Became the God of All People’. It is a trilogy Netflix documentary series. It has risen to the top of the list of popular content in Korea, conveying the tragedy of four people who called themselves gods and shook Korea, and the victims surrounding them, with a cool and careful gaze.

Synnara Records was mentioned in ‘Children’s Garden, Finding Paradise’. One of the sources of profit made by Kim Gi-soon, the teacher who called himself ‘Baby’ and created ‘Aga Garden’ in Icheon, Gyeonggi-do and acted like a god, was Media New Nara, and Synnara Records was the record chain store run by Media New Nara.

A believer who appeared in ‘I am God’ said, “(Kim Ki-soon) made money with Synnara Records,” and “I made a big profit because there was no foundation in the music business at the time.”

As Kim Ki-soon’s misdeeds were re-examined through ‘I am God’, a ‘boycott’ movement is emerging, centered on large fandoms that mainly purchase albums. “I will not use Shinnara Records based on pseudo-religion”.

In ‘I am God’, Kim Ki-soon detailed the process of raping a male believer at Aga Garden and killing three followers, including Choi Nak-gwi, who was 7 years old at the time.

Earlier in the trial, Kim Ki-soon was cleared of murder charges, but Choi’s parents, aunt, and other believers who appeared in ‘I am God’ said, “Kim Ki-soon had a ghost on Choi,” and “told him to get rid of it.” , and the believers testified that they locked Choi in a pig pen and beat him to death.

Their explanation was that the other two believers were also killed at the hands of other believers because they did not listen to Kim Ki-soon, and their bodies were abandoned.

After the trial, Kim Ki-soon paid 5.6 billion won in bail, and it is known that she lived in Aga Garden without any difficulties with the profits she earned from running Synnara Records.

Producer Cho Seong-hyeon, who directed ‘I am God’, told Hankyung.com, “I hope viewers will focus on ‘Children’s Garden’ as well.”

At the same time, regarding the fact that Aga Dongsan’s objection was not included, “I said that I would give the right of reply, but I did not receive a direct message from Ki-soon Kim that he would not exercise the right of reply, so I went to see him in person and was sued for trespassing. was included,” he said.
