[KOREA MAT 2024] Geek Plus introduces ‘one-stop’ logistics robot innovation

Geek Plus participated in the 14th International Logistics Industry Exhibition (KOREA MAT 2024) and introduced a scalable modular logistics solution based on cutting-edge robotics technology.

KOREA MAT 2024, sponsored by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport and hosted by the Korea Integrated Logistics Association, is Korea’s largest logistics industry exhibition. It will be held from April 23 to 26 at KINTEX Exhibition Hall 2 in Ilsan, and seven logistics industry-related exhibitions, including the International Logistics Industry Exhibition, are being held simultaneously.

The Shelf-to-Person picking solution uses P Series robots to transport inventory shelves and pallets to the picking station, providing great flexibility. It boasts easy deployment and high throughput. Intelligent picking and processing boasts more than three times the efficiency of manual work and can increase storage density by 80-130%.

Geek Plus also introduced a Tote-to-Person picking solution system. The strengths of this system are maximum warehouse storage, flexibility, and accuracy. Solutions ranging from 5m to 11m maximize vertical warehouse space and allow for two-level deep tote storage.

In the existing environment, installation of conveyors took a lot of time, so companies could not enjoy the benefits of conveyors until the entire system was in operation. Tote-to-person solutions allow flexible solutions to be deployed in stages. Another strength is that it is a hybrid workstation solution that allows mixed picking. A single workstation can handle totes, shelves, and pallets, providing more capacity without increasing footprint.
