‘AI Convergence Business Development Conference 2024 (AI Tech 2024)’ will be held on Friday, May 3 at COEX Conference Room E Hall in Seoul.

AI Tech 2024 marks its 7th anniversary this year with the start of the International Artificial Intelligence Exhibition (AI EXPO). This conference will share meaningful insights through AI-based business development methods and business cases where AI is applied, with attendees consisting of AI-related officials from each industry, developers, researchers, and college students.

AI Tech has emphasized the connection between AI technology and business. In particular, as the era of generative AI, including ChatGPT, arrives, services and markets derived from generative AI are opening up. Generative AI is a technology that can impact business model development, providing new ways for companies to accelerate innovation and gain competitive advantage.

As an example, generative AI makes business processes efficient by automating repetitive and time-consuming tasks. By automatically generating documents, writing reports, and performing data entry tasks, manpower can be devoted to strategic tasks. It is also used in product design, software development, and service innovation by generating and simulating new ideas.

The theme of this year’s AI Tech 2024 is ‘AI Frontier for AI Era’. It is expected to focus on insights, including the conditions and measures that must be met in order to become a leader in the AI ​​era. We plan to share the actual AI market environment and technology status, deliver roadmap insights from AI infrastructure to commercialization, and present business ideas with various empirical cases in AI application fields.

In the first keynote speech, Baek In-song, director of Microsoft Korea, will give a presentation on the topic ‘Generative AI for improving work productivity’, followed by Professor Jinhyeong Kim of KAIST with ‘The capabilities and limitations of AI: Focusing on reliability’, Twelve Labs CTO Seungjun Lee continues his presentation on the topic of ‘Next-generation AI system: Overcoming the limitations of very large language models through RAG, agents, and multimodal.’

Track 1, ‘Into the world of Generative AI’, includes ‘SOLAR: The Next Frontier in Large Language Models by Upstage and its Ecosystem’ by Upstage Senior Researcher Chan-Jun Park, and ‘LLM Reliability, How Can It Be Evaluated,’ by Select Star CEO Se-Yeop Kim, LG CNS. Track 2 ‘Evolution of AI & Industry’ includes ‘Business Models for Commercialization of Autonomous Driving’ by Stradvision CEO Kim Jun-hwan, Allganize Team Leader Tae-ha Yoo’s ‘Core Strategies for Success in Financial Sector AI Projects’, and Qualcomm Korea Managing Director Jeong Cheol-ho’s ‘ ‘The era of on-device AI and the role of Qualcomm AI Hub’, ‘Why optimal MLOps is needed in the manufacturing sector’ by Taewon Seo, business development director at Machinarax, and ‘Customized AI teacher for students around the world’ by Byungwoo Yoo, director of AI business technology at Qanda. A presentation on the topic follows.
