Broadcaster Kim Je-dong was angry that Lee Kyung-gyu was entirely responsible for his downfall as a celebrity.
On the 24th, the YouTube channel ‘Lekeuk Lee Gyeong-gyu’ said, ‘Jedong’s scream as a fallen celebrity! A video titled ‘Why did you do that to me?!’ was uploaded.
Kim Je-dong appeared as a guest in the video and was interviewed by MC Lee Kyung-gyu. The two revealed that it was their first meeting in 9 years and resolved the misunderstandings that had accumulated over the years.
In the past, Lee Kyung-gyu and Kim Je-dong worked together on the SBS entertainment show ‘Healing Camp’. Healing Camp, which began airing in July 2011, aired for three months with Kim Je-dong as the sole host after Lee Gyeong-gyu left the show in July 2015.
On this day, Kim Je-dong said, “At that time, I was at home after the program ended, and Lee Kyung-gyu appeared on MBC’s entertainment show ‘Infinite Challenge’ and told my story. Don’t even bring up Kim Je-dong. I recalled the statement, ‘I got fired from Healing Camp because of him.’
Kim Je-dong said, “The video became a hot topic, and I became the person who made a huge mistake. I became the person who stepped on my older brother, without any relationship between seniors and juniors, and without seniors or juniors throwing stones behind my seniors.”
In response, Lee Gyeong-gyu apologized, saying, “Actually, I didn’t mean that,” and “I didn’t know the consequences of my remarks at that time.”
Then Kim Je-dong said, “There was one more reason,” and got a drunk call from senior Lee Yun-seok. He said, ‘You can’t do that to Kyung-gyu.’ “Of course, when I thought about all those situations, I couldn’t help but think that he was very angry with me.”
When Lee Gyeong-gyu eventually admitted, “I prayed for the program to fail,” in response to continued questions, Kim Je-dong said, “I should have prayed for the program to fail, but didn’t I pray for the person itself to fail? After that, everything was ruined. That’s how 9 to 10 years passed. “It’s gone,” he said.
At the same time, he said, “It’s been a long time since I’ve even met a celebrity. Now, I’ve become such a ruined celebrity,” he said, adding, “I’m not doing anything right now. There’s not a single broadcast, and a little while ago, I was talking in front of 20 people in Dangjin.”
