In TV CHOSUN’s ‘Dad and Me’ broadcast on the 24th, Baek Il-seop was revealed to be receiving psychological counseling for the first time in his life.

On this day, Baek Il-seop said about his relationship with his children, “When I left home, my relationship with my son and daughter was not good. Everyone was on my mother’s side. But after I came out, my son approached me first and said, ‘I understand my father.’ “It’s gotten better after a year,” he said.

When the story about his wife’s health came up, Baek Il-seop said, “I came out after seeing that she was getting better (after the surgery). I don’t know what happens after that.” When asked by the doctor if he was hearing any news from (her wife), he said, “Her daughter-in-law talks to me sometimes, but I don’t want to listen. I have no reason to think about my wife. It’s convenient for her not to hear any news.” .

He continued, “I’m not going (to the funeral). I’m not going to go. I left without any affection,” emphasizing that his relationship with his wife is in an irreversible state.

The doctor asked, “If things get to this point, is there any reason not to divorce?” Baek Il-seop said, “I want to divorce, but isn’t the process complicated? We have to go to court together and meet each other. It’s okay if we live separately.” It was announced that it had been postponed. He continued by saying, “I have a son and daughter, so I will take care of it later,” and repeatedly emphasized, “I don’t need to think about (my wife’s feelings).”

Baek Il-seop honestly confessed his feelings, saying, “The most important thing was my mind and emotions. My life was so complicated that I thought it would be okay if I lived outside of that relationship.”
