Jeong Jin-seok “Sporadic messages from the President’s Office are not desirable”
The new President’s chief of staff, Jin-seok Jeong, is reported to have said, “It is not desirable for messages to be sent out sporadically in the name of the President’s Office or an official of the President’s Office.”
Attendees reported that Director Chung emphasized at his first meeting with senior secretaries today (24th) that the President’s Office is a working organization, not a talking organization.
Director Jeong also said, “Politics in the President’s Office are done by the President, not the secretaries. The President’s decision is final. There should not be a single gap in the throne.”
