At the extraordinary general meeting on this day, the Gyeongsangbuk-do Boundary Area Development Research Association (representative: Representative Kim Hong-gu), a research group formed to study current issues, the Gyeongsangbuk-do History and Culture Sustainable Development Research Association (representative: Representative Jeong Gyeong-min), the Education Governance Policy Research Association (representative: Representative Jeong Han-seok), and Gyeongsangbuk-do residents Low birth rate countermeasures research group (representative Rep. Park Soon-beom), Gyeongsangbuk-do local tax research group (representative Rep. A total of 11 cases, including the Gyeongsangbuk-do School Violence Policy Research Group (representative Rep. Son Hee-kwon), the Agricultural and Livestock Product Price Stabilization Plan Research Group (representative Rep. Park Chang-wook), the Rural Youth Policy Research Group (representative Rep. Nam Jin-bok), and the Gyeongsangbuk-do Future Sewerage Policy Development Research Group (representative Rep. Choi Byeong-jun). A research project has been submitted.

At the Policy Research Committee, in the presence of members, an in-depth discussion process was held along with explanations and questions about the research tasks from representatives of each research group. Of the 11 research tasks, 7 were approved for original draft and 4 were revised (research service amount). adjustment) was made.

Shin Hyo-gwang, chairman of the Policy Research Committee, who was in charge of reviewing the research project selection, said, “I would like to express my gratitude to the members who actively participated in the selection of the legislative policy research project of the Gyeongsangbuk-do Provincial Council despite their busy legislative activities. “We will strive to make research services effective by selecting research projects that can lead to effective policy development and alternatives that are consistent with our intentions,” he said.

In addition, he said, “I hope that a lot of policy foundations that can further develop Gyeongbuk will be created through the various policy research of the members of the Gyeongsangbuk-do Provincial Assembly.” He added, “We will not spare any support for the members’ substantive research activities in the future.” .

Meanwhile, the research project selected as a research service project at this extraordinary general meeting will be selected and promoted as a research project for the Gyeongsangbuk-do Provincial Council in 2024 after deliberation by the Research Service Deliberation Committee.
