Our Home received the ‘Korea Packaging Technology Society President’s Award’ at the Korea Packaging Daejeon event.

Our Home announced on the 24th that it won the ‘Korea Packaging Technology Society Chairman’s Award’ at the ‘2024 Korea Packaging Competition’.

The Korea Packaging Competition is a representative government award system related to industrial product packaging hosted by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy. Since 2007, we have evaluated functionality and marketability every year to select excellent companies and products that have contributed to the development of the packaging industry.

The company won an award by submitting ‘HMR (Home Meal) Velcro Ball Steam Pouch’ in this packaging competition. The packaging material has a Velcro zipper so that steam is released through the Velcro gap when cooking in a microwave oven, allowing steam cooking. It is designed in a bowl structure, so it can be consumed after cooking without a separate bowl. Additionally, it is designed to prevent contents such as soup and sauce from spilling out when opened after cooking. In addition, sustainability was increased by applying eco-friendly packaging materials.

The company plans to first apply the pouch to combination HMR products with separate contents and sauce, such as ‘Soup Tteokbokki’, ‘Pocha Skewered Fish Cake’, and ‘Chicken Steak’, and gradually expand it.
