According to the selection criteria of the central government, the inspection targets include multi-use facilities within the jurisdiction, including facilities where accidents have recently occurred, and by 2024, 5 particularly high-risk underpasses and 6 children’s play facilities will be added, for a total of 90 locations through public-private cooperation with private experts. Conduct a joint inspection.
At the briefing session on this day, preparations, countermeasures, and future plans for each department were discussed, and the military plans to continue to manage the risk factors discovered as a result of the inspection until repairs and reinforcements are completed.
Meanwhile, Korea’s safety transition intensive safety inspection will be conducted for 61 days from April 22nd to June 21st.
Jung Jung-seon, Deputy Governor of Yesan, said, “We plan to proactively discover and resolve factors that threaten safety in various areas around our lives through the ‘Korea Safety Transformation Intensive Safety Inspection,’ which has been promoted for the 10th year this year,” adding, “This inspection is to prevent disasters in military-managed facilities.” “We expect that this will serve as an opportunity to increase interest in prevention and greatly contribute to the realization of a safe budget group,” he said.
