Hansol Paper (213500) financial analysischart areaView Detailsannounced on the 24th that its eco-friendly premium fancy paper ‘Inspur Signature Eco 100’ won the ‘Korea Federation of Packaging Organizations President’s Award’ in the corporate category of the ’18th Korea Packaging Daejeon Korea Star Awards’.

The Korea Packaging Daejeon is an event hosted by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy and organized by the Packaging Technology Center of the Korea Institute of Industrial Technology. Since 2007, it has evaluated the functionality and marketability of products every year to select excellent companies and products that have contributed to the development of the packaging industry.

‘Inspur Signature Eco 100’, which won the award at this packaging competition, is an eco-friendly premium fancy paper made from 100% recycled pulp, not natural pulp made from felling trees. Although this product is produced using only recycled pulp, it not only achieves a level of quality and strength comparable to products made from natural pulp, but can also be expressed in a variety of colors.

In particular, it is said to actively meet customer needs for eco-friendly products by not using felled trees and obtaining eco-label certification.

An official from Hansol Paper said, “This award was an opportunity to be recognized for our papermaking technology and efforts for resource recycling.” He added, “Hansol Paper will continue to build a resource recycling system based on the know-how we have accumulated, while creating differentiated products with increased sustainability.” “We also plan to work on product development,” he said.
