11,186 local households to be sold to the general public next month

Daegu Suseong-gu ‘Hillstate Hwanggeum Station Reserve’

In celebration of the spring sales season, a total of 12,000 apartments will be supplied in 16 complexes in local areas next month. As the complex, whose sales schedule was postponed due to the 22nd National Assembly election (April 10), resumes supply, the volume is twice that of the same period last year. As the top 10 construction companies account for 90% of the total supply, it is predicted that the options for actual consumers who want branded apartments will expand.

○Supply twice compared to the same month last year

According to Real Estate Info, a real estate research company, a total of 12,113 households will be supplied in 16 complexes in local areas next month. Of these, 11,186 households will be sold to the public. This is more than double the amount compared to the same month last year (4,234 households).

By region, South Chungcheong Province has the largest number of households with 3,068. This is followed by Jeju (1,401 households), Daejeon (1,339 households), Gangwon (1,304 households), and Busan (1,214 households). General sales are also being made for 975 households in Gyeongnam, 576 in Jeonbuk, and 491 in Gyeongbuk.

Hyundai Engineering & Construction presents ‘Hillstate Hwanggeum Station Reserve’ built in Hwanggeum-dong, Suseong-gu, Daegu. It consists of 5 buildings, 337 households and 74 residential officetels, from 4 floors underground to 40 floors above ground. ○90% of the volume comes from top 10 construction companies

The local sales market next month is characterized by a large volume of sales from large construction companies. Of the total 11,186 households (based on general households), 9,987 households, or close to 90%, are from the top 10 construction companies. This is good news for consumers looking for branded apartments from large construction companies.

As construction costs continue to rise, there is an analysis that the number of actual consumers looking to purchase their own homes at reasonable prices will increase. According to the Korea Institute of Civil Engineering and Building Technology, the construction cost index in February was 154.81, up 24.01% from three years ago (124.84). An industry expert said, “As the trend of rising construction costs continues, an increase in the sale price will be inevitable in the future,” adding, “The number of consumers in a hurry to buy their own home is increasing, including the increase in the number of subscription account subscribers.”
