(Daily Daegu Gyeongbuk News = Reporter Hwang Ji-hyeon) The Gyeongsangbuk-do Education Scholarship Association (Chairman Lim Jong-sik), a foundation, held an event at the Woongbi Hall of the main office on April 24, with representatives from three organizations, including the Gyeongsangbuk-do Association of the Korea Electrical Contractors Association, DS Technology Co., Ltd., and the Gyeongsangbuk-do Office of Education Drivers’ Association, attending. A scholarship donation ceremony was held.

At the event, a 10 million won scholarship was awarded by the Gyeongsangbuk-do Association of the Korea Electrical Contractors Association (Chairman Tak Moo-hoon), which was established to promote the improvement and development of the electric construction business and to contribute to the national power business, and DS Technology Co., Ltd., an innovative manufacturer of electronic components such as premium electronic whiteboards, was awarded a scholarship of 10 million won. (CEO Kim Dae-sik) donated 5 million won, and the Gyeongsangbuk-do Office of Education Driver’s Association (Chairman Choi Yoon-gon), which consists of driving public officials belonging to the Gyeongbuk Office of Education, donated 3 million won in scholarships.

The donors unanimously said, “We donated the scholarship to help students who are working hard to achieve their goals in various fields, and we will continue to make active efforts to spread the culture of sharing in the region through continuous donations.”

Chairman Lim Jong-sik said, “We are deeply grateful to the Gyeongsangbuk-do Association of the Korea Electrical Contractors Association, DS Technology Co., Ltd., and the Gyeongsangbuk-do Office of Education Driver’s Association for actively making donations for the students of Gyeongbuk. “I will use it,” he said.
