Gyeongbuk Province supports ‘hobby club activities’ for single men and women of marriageable age.

The name is ‘hobby club activity’, but in reality, it is closer to finding partners for single men and women.

According to Gyeongbuk Province on the 25th, this year’s youth club activities will be held over three periods.

In particular, this year, couples connected through club activities will be offered a ‘Happy Meeting’ trip to major tourist attractions in the province for one day or 2 days and 1 night, as well as a 5-night and 6-day ‘Cruise Marine Tour’ using the Yeongilman Port International Cruise Terminal at the end of the year. .

The first club activity conducted by the province will accept applications for participation for three weeks from this day to the 17th of next month.

Participants are single men and women aged 25 to 42 who live in Gyeongbuk or work in the province, and the province selects 50 final participants through screening and lottery.

The final participants will be notified individually on the 20th of next month. The event will be held in three terms this year, starting with the first term, the second term will be held in August, and the third term will be held around October.

Jeong Seong-hyeon, head of the Gyeongbuk Province Local Policy Bureau, said, “With the trend of late marriage and non-marriage spreading, this hobby activity that the MZ generation participates in will provide a natural meeting place and create a positive perception of marriage.”

Meanwhile, last year, a variety of programs were held, including horseback riding, woodworking, cooking, and art, and 33 couples were born among the 150 participants.
