In order to respond to the low birth rate crisis, Gyeonggi Province will support the creation of a family-friendly organizational culture and promote tourism support projects that families can enjoy together.

The Gyeonggi-do Population Talk Committee announced this policy implementation plan at its 8th meeting at the Yulgok Hall of the Gyeonggi Provincial Office on the 25th, announcing the start of ‘Population Talk Committee Season 2: Lovei’.

In order to support the creation of a family-friendly organizational culture, the province presented support policies such as ▲expanding and strengthening support for family-friendly companies in Gyeonggi Province, ▲establishing paternity leave incentives for fathers, ▲0.5 & 0.7 jobs to prevent career breaks, and ▲4·6·1 childcare support work system. did.

First, in order to motivate certification of the Gyeonggi Family-Friendly Company System, which creates and spreads a family-friendly work culture, the certification item evaluation scores will be increased and related incentives will be expanded from the existing 49 types to 57 types.

The province will establish a special management fund worth 20 billion won for companies that have received the certification, provide low-interest loans (up to 200 million won per company), and produce and provide corporate promotional content using Gyeonggi-do public relations ambassadors, catch bars, etc. .

In addition, a new subsidy for recertification companies will be established to provide 2 million won to 40 companies, and local tax support such as tax reduction will be promoted through ordinance revision.

In order for parents to raise and care for their children together, a new paternity leave incentive will be established.

Those eligible for support are male workers who have lived in the province for more than a year and have been on leave for more than three months with an income of 150% or less of the median income. The amount and payment period will be discussed later through discussions on the establishment of a social security system.

In order to prevent career breaks for workers at public institutions and private companies in the province, the ‘0.5&0.75 Job’ system is being promoted to encourage the introduction of a flexible working hours system.

We plan to provide support for companies that introduce a time-selective work system to account for pregnancy, childbirth, and childcare, which are the biggest reasons for career breaks, including attendance system introduction fees, agency work allowances, and incentives for hiring replacement workers.

The 4·6·1 childcare support work system is implemented for provincial government officials and public institutions.

This system creates an environment such as going to work 4 days a week, working 6 hours a day, and working from home 1 day a week so that pregnant employees can take care of their children directly through maternal protection, childcare, and care.

In order to revitalize the system, the province plans to promote policies such as ▲providing incentives to business agents to realize child care support work without paying attention to others, and ▲promoting an atmosphere within the company with senior civil servants leading by example.

In addition, in order to spread family culture, we are also promoting the ‘KnockKnock’ program, which is a game where fun comes when you knock with your family.

The program consists of ▲Operation of Family Forest Playground Gyeonggi Sangsang Campus ▲Operation of family ceramics experience ▲Family cultural arts performance ▲Family performance for pregnant women and families with infants and toddlers ▲Camping for multiple families (camping + ticketing) escape story.

Gyeonggi Province Governor Kim Dong-yeon said, “The issue of low birth rates is a problem related to the overall structure, consciousness, and culture of our society,” and added, “Through the Population Talk Talk Committee, I want to lay the foundation for solving this problem at least in Gyeonggi Province. “I hope to hear many opinions from the committee members,” he said.
