Goldline Group (Chairman Hongki Lee) won the grand prize in the logistics equipment innovation category at the Money Today ‘2024 Korea Innovation Awards’ held at the Press Center in Jung-gu, Seoul on the 25th.
The Korea Innovation Award is an award given to innovative companies in terms of technology, management, and products, in line with the current situation that requires government efforts and nationwide participation to overcome the economic recession.

Goldline Group, which celebrates its 41st anniversary this year, is a mid-sized logistics equipment company that pioneered logistics innovation by introducing the first pallet system in Korea. We have obtained logistics standard equipment certification in the plastic pallet sector from the Ministry of Knowledge Economy’s Agency for Technology and Standards, and have developed the first ‘plastic pallet with anti-slip tape’ in Korea that prevents loads from slipping and moves them safely.

In the logistics equipment industry, we are the only company that develops, manufactures, and sells optimal logistics equipment using a variety of materials, from wood to steel and plastic.

In addition, we are taking the lead in reducing logistics costs by creating optimal transportation and space efficiency by establishing a logistics standardization model in Korea, China, and Japan. By participating in overseas logistics conventions, we are promoting the excellence of the Korean logistics system not only in the domestic market but also in overseas markets.

The ultra-large plastic pallet, which is the world’s largest size (1960 We have been steadily exporting through custom design for over 10 years.

In terms of technological innovation in overseas business, in 2017, we achieved the feat of developing ‘low-temperature, high-impact-resistant special material plastic pallets’ exclusively for beef freezer storage so that they can be used without damage in extreme environments of -40℃, and exporting them to a number of Australian beef processing companies. . Since the end of 2018, we have been continuously supplying rainbow pallets by signing an exclusive supply agreement with Australia’s largest distribution company, W, which is equivalent to E-Mart in Korea.

In addition, we participated in the international airport cargo terminal logistics automation construction project (receiving orders for ultra-large plastic pallets for the cargo terminal at Helsinki International Airport in Finland in 2016 and supplying impact-resistant pallets for the cargo terminal at Moscow International Airport in Russia in 2017), contributing to the pallet sector of the European air logistics market. It also stands out.

In the wood sector, it was evaluated that it contributed to reducing transportation costs in the petrochemical industry by developing a ‘wooden floatainer box’ that is easy to assemble and disassemble and can be reused multiple times with excellent durability. In the steel sector, we contributed to cost reduction in the automobile parts industry with the high-load steel pallet and ‘Mesh Container’ that maximized loading efficiency, jointly developed with POSCO from materials to products.

Goldline Group completed the new Ulsan Factory in Gyeongnam in December 2017 and expanded the Yeosu Factory in May 2020, expanding pallet production from 6.4 million to 8 million along with the Dangjin Factory in South Chungcheong Province, the Gwangju Factory in South Jeolla Province, and the Yeosu Factory. In addition, the local production and supply system is established through ‘LOGISALL GOLDLINE VINA CO., LTD.’, a Vietnamese joint venture established in Qingdao, China in 2005 and in Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam in October 2021 through joint investment with Logisall. was established to quickly supply logistics equipment to Southeast Asia, including Vietnam.

Currently, the company is exporting its products to over 20 countries, including India, China, Japan, Australia, Singapore, Taiwan, Russia, Malaysia, Germany, Finland, UK, UAE, Vietnam, Indonesia, Thailand, and New Zealand.

An official from Goldline Group said, “The reason we were able to increase our competitiveness as a global company is because of our corporate philosophy of ‘always supplying the most competitive products with cutting-edge facilities and efforts.’” He added, “We will play a leading role as a global logistics company.” “For this reason, we will not settle for our current position and will lead sustainable growth through continuous talent training and R&D investment.”
