Radian Q Bio Co., Ltd., which began research and development of automated external defibrillators (AEDs) in 2014, has domestically produced four types of emergency medical devices. Accordingly, it was selected as a promising export small and medium-sized business (No. 15 Seoul-6) by the Seoul Metropolitan Government in 2015, and was selected as an excellent procurement product (HR-701 Plus) by the Public Procurement Service, and is currently exporting to 52 countries, including Europe, Southeast Asia, the Middle East, and South America.

Article 47-2 of the 「Emergency Medical Services Act」, which mandates workplaces with more than 300 full-time workers to be equipped with automatic cardioverter defibrillators (revised on December 21, 2021), has also been strengthened, and automatic defibrillators are being installed worldwide. As the importance of AEDs is increasing and institutional arrangements are also being strengthened, the influence of Radian Q Bio’s automatic external defibrillators is expected to expand further.
