About a month after an incident occurred in which a civil servant from Gimpo City, Gyeonggi Province, died while suffering from complaints, another civil servant belonging to the same city was found dead.

According to the Gimpo Police Station on the 25th, at around 8:12 a.m. on this day, a report was received from fellow employee B that Mr. A, a man in his 40s and a 7th grade civil servant belonging to Gimpo City, had gone missing. It is reported that Mr. A left a text message to Mr. B the evening before, saying, ‘I am sorry for not being able to finish work and leaving first.’ When Mr. B could not contact Mr. A the next day, he reported it to the police.

The dispatched police found Mr. A dead in a vehicle parked in the parking lot of a soccer field in Masan-dong, Gimpo-si, around 8:35 a.m., about 20 minutes later. No suicide note was found. The police believe that there are no criminal charges so far, and are investigating detailed circumstances, including whether Mr. A has ever received any complaints from his family and acquaintances.

Previously, in Gimpo City, there was an incident on the 5th of last month where a level 9 public servant in his 30s, who had been suffering from civil complaints, was found dead in a vehicle. It is known that he continued to receive complaints related to road pothole repair work at the time, and that he complained about his personal information being made public through a local online cafe.
