Major Map wins the 2024 Korea Innovation Award for two consecutive years

Major Map (CEO Lee Jung-hoon) won the grand prize in the edtech category for the second consecutive year at the Money Today ‘2024 Korea Innovation Awards’ held at the Press Center in Jung-gu, Seoul on the 25th.
The Korea Innovation Award is an award given to innovative companies in terms of technology, management, and products, in line with the current situation that requires government efforts and nationwide participation to overcome the economic recession.

Major Map is a company that provides data-based career planning solutions. It standardizes scattered department, job, and learning-related information using data analysis technology and discloses it for free through its website.

Currently, the number of users of the career information platform ‘Major Map’ web service has approached 470,000, and the AI-based career planning solution ‘Waymaker’ has been used by 27,000 students at 130 schools. ‘Major Map’ has established itself as a unique service that allows users to explore department information at four-year universities across the country along with related career information. ‘Waymaker’ went one step further and received favorable reviews by providing a function that allows users to design their own career path based on major map career information.

Recently, it was named as a promising edutech company in the East Asia region by being selected as one of the ‘East Asia EdTech 150’ by ‘Holon IQ’, a global education market research institute.
