(Seoul = Yonhap News) Reporter Kwon Hye-jin = Taeyoung Group will hand over the golf course The Honors CC, owned by Blue One, a tourism and leisure affiliate, to Gangdong Group.

According to the industry on the 24th, Taeyoung Group selected Kangdong Group as the preferred negotiating party for the sale of The Honors CC and signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with these details.

The transaction price was reported to be in the mid-300 billion won range, and all auxiliary facilities, including the Diana CC, a nearby 296-room condominium, and a water park were included in the sale list. The Honors CC is a 27-hole membership golf course located in the Bomun Tourist Complex in Gyeongju, Gyeongbuk.

Gangdong Group is a construction materials company with cement-related companies such as Koryo Cement and Gangdong Ready-Mixed Concrete as affiliates, and is expanding its business areas to include golf courses and landscaping.

Taeyoung Group also promoted the sale of Luna X CC, another golf course in Gyeongju, but Luna X CC was excluded from the sale.

A Taeyoung Group official said, “We plan to sell Luna X CC separately.”
