ROG ALLY now supports AMD Fluid Motion Frame (AFMF).

According to the update details released by ASUS last night, AFMF will be officially supported starting from iGPU driver V31.0.24027.1012, and AMD Fluid Motion Frame can be activated in the graphics options of the Gaming tab of AMD software after installing the driver.

Armory Crate SE was also updated in line with the iGPU driver update, and AFMF usage information was also added to the real-time monitoring overlay function provided by Armory Crate SE.

The function to control AFMF in the Command Center is under development, so in the future it will be possible to turn AFMF on and off without running AMD software.

For reference, Lenovo Legion, which is equipped with the same processor, is expected to support AFMF, but driver support for mobile devices depends on each manufacturer’s strategy and will, so it is difficult to give a definite answer. There will be no technical problems, but the timing of driver provision is expected to vary.
