[KOREA MAT 2024] Cognex introduces ‘optimal’ machine vision solution for high-speed logistics line

Cognex Korea participated in the 14th International Logistics Industry Exhibition (KOREA MAT 2024) and introduced a machine vision solution for logistics automation.

KOREA MAT 2024, sponsored by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport and hosted by the Korea Integrated Logistics Association, is Korea’s largest logistics industry exhibition. It will be held from April 23 to 26 at KINTEX Exhibition Hall 2 in Ilsan, and seven logistics industry-related exhibitions, including the International Logistics Industry Exhibition, are being held simultaneously.

At this exhibition, Cognex built a ‘Modular Vision Tunnel System’ and intensively introduced its technologies, including machine learning-based smart vision cameras and barcode readers.

Cognex’s In-Sight 2800 series of barcode reading solutions combines edge learning with existing rule-based vision tools to handle a variety of error prevention tasks. Applicable from simple presence/absence confirmation to more advanced classification applications

It is an integrated system that can easily implement inspection automation.

The DataMan 380, which was also introduced, is equipped with a wide viewing angle and advanced imaging and decoding technology based on artificial intelligence, enabling multi-angle barcode scanning from manufacturing to logistics. DataMan380 is an image-based barcode reader that captures and tracks important product and package information in fast-moving logistics lines, providing users with meaningful data that can be utilized in logistics automation lines.
