Dinner meeting for 2 hours and 30 minutes… Discussion of cooperation measures such as legislation
Lee Jae-myung, leader of the Democratic Party of Korea, and Cho Kuk, leader of the Fatherland Innovation Party, met on the 25th and discussed the direction of running the country.
Representative Lee and Representative Cho had a private dinner meeting somewhere in Seoul for 2 hours and 30 minutes from 6:30 pm on this day. It is known that the two mainly discussed ways to cooperate ahead of the opening of the 22nd National Assembly.
The Democratic Party said in a media announcement, “They decided to meet frequently and talk openly, regardless of the agenda,” and added, “The content and processing order of common bill policies between the two parties were discussed through a channel between the political office heads of both parties.” He said.
Representative Lee then asked the Fatherland Innovation Party to play a leading role in reforming our society, and Representative Cho added that he hoped the Democratic Party would fulfill its heavy responsibility and role as an authoritative political party.
Kim Woo-young, head of the political affairs coordination office of the Democratic Party, and Cho Yong-woo, head of the political affairs coordination office of the New Fatherland Innovation Party, were present at the meeting.
