Lee Jeong-hoo narrowly avoids Ottavino’s ball to his body.

Lee Jeong-hoo of San Francisco, a non-pro baseball team, came on as a substitute and walked one.

Jeong-hoo Lee was left out of the starting lineup for the Major League Baseball (MLB) home game against the New York Mets at Oracle Park in San Francisco, California.

Lee Jeong-hoo, who was warming up the bench, replaced second baseman Tyro Estrada, who batted seventh, as a center fielder during the top of the sixth inning.

Lee Jung-hoo, who was caught by a fly ball to center field in his first at-bat in the bottom of the sixth inning, narrowly avoided a low sinker thrown by Mets right-handed relief pitcher Adam Ottavino in the eighth inning, and then walked to first base.

As the sinker penetrated his leg at high speed, Lee Jeong-hoo quickly stretched out his hips and fell forward to avoid the ball.

After finishing the game with no hits in one at-bat, Lee Jeong-hoo’s season batting average fell slightly to 0.269 (25 hits in 93 at-bats).

San Francisco lost 2-8 after allowing three home runs, including two two-run shots to Francisco Lindor.

Blake Snell, who was scheduled to start, was placed on the 15-day injured list (IL) due to a left inner thigh adductor injury.
